“Everybody who joins me gets this cotton #HARASSBUHARIOUTOFNEWYORK T-shirt in Black or White.”

Naija News recalls President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday departed Nigeria for the United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly.

Buhari is scheduled to speak to world leaders during the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA76) in New York.

The UNGA session opened on Tuesday, September 14.

Apart from the UN meeting, the President will also hold some high-level meetings and interactions while in the United States.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Yoruba Nation agitators, Prof. Banji Akintoye, has accused the Muhammdu Buhari government of paying people to organize a counter-protest at the United Nations Headquarters on Friday.

Akintoye alleged that the Federal Government has paid some Nigerians in the United States to stage a Pro-Buhari protest opposite the UN Headquarters in New York, United States.

In a statement on Thursday by the spokesman of the Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS), Maxwell Adeleye, each pro-Buhari protester was paid $500.

Akintoye stated that the grand finale of the “Million-Man Freedom March” scheduled for tomorrow will hold and all the crimes against being aided by the Buhari led government would be exposed.

He asserted that the agitators would not be intimidated by the antics of the Buhari government to call off the protest tomorrow.
