Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has declared herself the most controversial person on earth.

The mother of one made this known in a video at the TEDx Ikenegbu programme titled “Leveraging on controversy’, organised by Martin Uwakwe and Co-organised by Excel Ajah.

The actress while participating in the conversation that brings people together to share their experiences through talks, said the negatives things people said about her used to make her sad before discovering that she could build on it.

“I used to be sad and broke down on what people wrote about me. Every time someone says something negative about me, I go home and absolve it; I let the negativity get me so much that I became what people thought I am,’’ Dikeh said.

In the reports shared by the News Agency of Nigeria, the actress disclosed that she no longer allows what people wrote about her to get to her, rather she has learned to leverage controversy using them to her advantage, growth, and satisfaction.

She urged her audience not to allow controversies to break them but they should use it to their own advantage.

“Controversy can make or mar you but only you can break it and for years, I allowed it to break me,’’ she said.
