The projects completed by Governor Hope Uzodinma government include Naze-Nekede-Ihiagwa-Obinze Link Road Phase One, an underground tunnel on D-Tiger Road Owerri, the Egbeada Bye-Pass, and the new State Executive Council Chambers at the Government House, among others.

Naija News reports that streets, banks and schools were deserted by residents of Imo state as a result of Buhari’s arrival in the state.

The development is in line with the order by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. The Biafra group had ordered residents of Imo State to sit-at-home in protest of Buhari’s visit. The secessionists had said the president is not welcome to the state.

However, the former Kaduna central senator has lamented turnouts during the reception of the country’s number one political leader in the state.
