English Premier League club, Everton has loaned their forward, Moise Kean to Juventus.

Juve’s quest for a forward became paramount following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to former club, Manchester United.

Naija News recalls that Kean began his football career at Juventus in 2016. The Italian footballer became the club’s youngest-ever debutant at the age of 16.

Kean’s return to Juve on loan reportedly cost the Seria A club €7m and the contract deal expires in 2023 with an obligation to sign permanently.

The player had spent last season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, where he netted 17 times in Ligue 1.

An official statement on Tuesday noted that if the Italian meets various objectives by the end of the 2022-23 campaign, Juventus will make the move permanent for an initial €28m, payable over a three-year period, plus a further €3m in add-ons.

The statement reads: “This is the perfect phrase to describe Moise Kean’s official return to Juventus from Everton. The 21-year-old returns to the Club, where not only did he take his first steps in professional football, but where he grew up, as a boy and a player, within our youth sector.

“Moise is back and he joins us on loan,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunner has said he will want Cristiano Ronaldo to play as his striker.

He stated this on Monday while speaking on the player’s return to Old Trafford, Naija News reports.
