“I am happy to formally welcome you. I certainly wish you the best of luck. I’m anxious for your success, and will closely follow,” President Buhari declared.

Others were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and the Minister for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, George Akume.
Making reference to the recent defections of Senators Stella Oduah and Joy Emodi, Buni at the event expressed optimism that APC would emerge victorious at the polls.
“Anambra is ripe for us, and we will work together for victory,” he stated.
Also, Gov Uzodinma, as Chairman of the Campaign Council, toed the line of Buni and assured the President and all those present of victory for the APC.
He submitted that “because of the integrity and honour you (President Buhari) have in Nigeria. Your name opens doors for us, and lots of people come into our party today because of it.”
“By the grace of God, we will be successful,” Gov Uzodinma concluded.
