Mr Sunday Adebayo, the legal adviser to the detained associates of embattled Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, has given an update on why the aides are still in detention.

Adebayo on Tuesday (today), said the release order of the four aides had been signed since they had perfected their bail conditions.

The counsel to the Yoruba Nation Agitator expressed optimism that the Department of State Services, would release them upon receiving the release order.

Naija News had reported earlier that Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday signed the release order of four aides of embattled Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho.

The DSS had earlier told the Court that it has appealed the bail granted four of the 12 detained associates of Igboho.

At the court sitting, counsel to the security operatives, Idowu Awo, said the agency was withdrawing an earlier application seeking to nullify the bail granted to the four.

Recall that the DSS had in July 1st arrested 12 aides of the agitator after attacking his house and killing two other people.

Subsequently, the security operatives also arrested Sunday Igboho in Benin Republic while trying to board a flight to Germany.

However, the agitator and his wife, Ropo, were later granted freedom while his aides were arraigned in court for allegedly aiding him in stocking pilling arms.

The four arrested aides accused of involvement in the alleged arms stockpiling charge are namely: Amudat Babatunde, Abideen Shittu, Jamiu Oyetunji, and Bamidele Sunday.
