Students in the Junior Secondary School have been asked to return to their various schools in Kaduna State.

The state government, in a statement released on Thursday, informed the students to put on mufti when going to their various schools.

Naija News recalls that Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s government had shut down schools many weeks ago due to the increase in banditry attacks and kidnapping of school children in the state.

However, in the statement made available to newsmen, the government asked schools in the state to re-open starting Wednesday, 18th August 2021.

The resumption date is strictly for Junior Secondary School (JSS) III students, and they are to come to school in mufti.

Kaduna state’s Commissioner for Education, Shehu Usman Muhammad, noted.

The statement reads; “Government has approved the resumption for JSS all students, who were scheduled to write their National Examination Council Basic Education Certificate Examination (NECO BECE) scheduled for 23rd August to 6th September 2021.

“Secondary schools are hereby directed to resume operations only for JSS all students with effect from 18 August 2021 and to inform the students to appear multi.
