Terrorists Abduct Students Of College Of Health Tech In Zamfara

The Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) terrorist sect has denied reports that its members and their families have surrendered to troops of the Nigerian military in Borno State.

Naija News earlier reported that top Boko Haram Commanders and their family members, including women and children, surrendered to troops in Bama, Gwoza, Mafa, and Konduga, among other axes, in the North East.

The ex-insurgents, after surrendering, turned in themselves, their families and ammunition to military authorities.

But according to PRNigeria, ISWAP fighters, unlike their Boko Haram counterparts, have refused to renounce their extremist ideology and religious terrorism ‘way’.

It was gathered that the ISWAP hierarchy in the Lake Chad region has rejected the unofficial ‘amnesty deal’ offered by Nigerian troops, which have been receiving other surrendered Boko Haram ex-members, in recent weeks.

Also speaking, a military intelligence officer stationed in the North East, said those who have so far surrendered to troops in various parts of Borno State, are not ISWAP, but former Boko Haram members.

Meanwhile, a directive from the Headquarters of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), has been carried out by the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Nigeria.

It was gathered that ISIS had ordered ISWAP to reshuffle its leadership and Shura council over its failure to sustain the reunification of ISWAP and Boko Haram fighters, after the death of Abubakar Shekau.

Aba-Ibrahim who replaced Abbah-Gana was appointed as the new ISWAP leader while Malam Bako, Abdul-Kaka a.k.a Sa’ad, Abu Ayun and Abba Kaka, were appointed as the new members of the Shura Council for the ISWAP.

Other appointments include Muhammed Mustapha who was appointed as the New Amir of Marte, Muhammed Malumma, Muhammed Maina and Abubakar Dan- Buduma- who were to maintain their former positions as Commanders.
