Buhari Travels To Yobe State After Campaigning In Adamawa State

President Muhammadu Buhari will return to Nigeria from his London trip today, 13th August 2021, sources have disclosed.

Barring any last-minute change, Buhari is expected to land in Nigeria by 5pm on Friday.

Naija News recalls the President has been in the UK for over two weeks, first to attend the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 2021-2025 and after that, to see his doctors for a medical check-up.

It has now been gathered that Buhari is set to return to Nigeria today.

According to a police wireless message quoted by DAILY POST, the FCT Police Commissioner has directed all Sector Commanders and Divisional Police Officers at the Federal Capital Territory command to mobilize adequately to receive the President.

“Mr President will be arriving Abuja from his trip outside the country tomorrow (Friday), the 12/08/2021 by 1700hrs.

“Compol (Commissioner of Police) directs all Sector Commanders and DPOs to deploy adequately inward Abuja. Time in position, 1530hrs,” the police message read in part.

It will be recalled that on Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari paid a visit to the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in London, UK.

Naija News reports that the former Lagos State Governor is rumoured to be undergoing a series of surgery on his knee.
