Toyin Lawani Reveals New Name She Wants To Be Called, Gives Reasons

Celebrity stylist and entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani has picked a new name by which she wants to be addressed.

Lawani in a statement via her social media account on Tuesday, said henceforth, she wants friends, fans, and followers to stop calling her Tiannah and start calling her ATM.

She made the declaration after an interaction with a follower who questioned her real name and she said ATM but the person said it can’t be her real name.

The fashion entrepreneur, however, insisted arguing that her real fans should know that is her real name.

She added further that she doesn’t want to be called Toyin as that is the name she hates the most and that Tiannah is her business name which even her daughter doesn’t like people calling her by the name.

She wrote: “So this happened last night and it couldn’t get me to stop and wonder, I realized a lot of people follow me every day and don’t even know me, so I need to always enlighten them about who I am , which of my followers don’t know my real name and don’t know my Real name is ATM ??? And if you know it, let’s hear the full meaning

“Pls note from now on nobody should call me TIANNAH anymore, my real Birth Given name is Atm, everyone used to call me Atmfashionista before fashion Goddess, but now my daughter have started complaining seriously, like mom why does everyone call you TIANNAH, don’t they know your own name even if the brand is TIANNAH this follower even found it extremely funny alot people used to think it meant cash machine, I had to take the name plates of my Range, it kept dragging area boys after me.

“So to my true followers what’s the meaning of ATM ??? I will pick winners and just in case you don’t know my name I hate the most is Toyin, pls don’t call me that,” she wrote on her Instagram account.

Meanwhile, former BBNaija housemate, Gifty Powers has condemned the Big Brother Naija reality show, urging that it should be entirely shut down.

According to Gifty, who was once a housemate, the show is satanic which has kept a lot of lives in competition.

Gifty noted there are a lot of things her eyes have seen that her mouth can’t say in connection with the popular reality show which gets viewers across Africa and beyond glued to their TV set.
