Tinubu Govt Knows Those Behind Killing Of Security Operatives In Imo - IPOB

The outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has thanked the Cameroon separatist group, Ambazonia’s Defence Forces for showing support to its sit-at-home order which began on Monday.

Recall that IPOB had ordered for a sit-at-home to be observed every Monday throughout the southeast region, starting from August 9, until IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is released from prison.

The Cameroon separatist group recently denied reports that it has an alliance with IPOB and Kanu to help in the struggle for a Biafra nation.

But in a statement on Tuesday by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, IPOB appreciated Ambazonia’s separatists for their support all through the struggle.

Part of the statement reads: “We equally extend our appreciation to our brothers and sisters in Ambazonia for their wonderful and total support of this sit-at-home order.

“We cannot fail to thank the Biafran Diaspora community for their inestimable contributions and their numerous protests across their county of residence and total support for our leader’s release and our struggle for independence. Biafrans in the Diaspora did us proud on numerous protests going on across the globe.

Meanwhile, IPOB has berated the self-acclaimed President of Ambazonia, Sako Ekome for denying its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

In a statement on Tuesday by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, the group described Ekome as inconsequential, selfish and a traitor.

The pro-Biafra group stated that he cannot be consulted in the Biafran freedom fight in the southeast zone.

The statement reads in part: “The attention of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been drawn to the statement and claims by one Sako Ekome, a self-acclaimed President of Ambazonia, that he was not consulted before the Memorandum of Understanding between Biafra and Ambazonia was signed.

“We, therefore, wish to inform him that Biafra does not recognize traitors and selfish fellows like him. He is too inconsequential and unreliable to be consulted or involved in any deal between Biafra and Ambazonia.

“We don’t recognize him because he is not working for the people of Ambazonia. He has never had their mandate. We know his sponsors and whose interests he protects.

“The only true Ambazonian Leader recognised by Biafra and our leader is Dr Cho Ayaba. Dr Cho Ayaba and Co have been busy fighting for the liberation of their people and fighting the terrorist leaders in French Cameroon led by Paul Biya.

“But instead of supporting the sacrificial, patriotic and genuine efforts of Dr. Cho Ayaba to liberate Ambazonians from the Camarounian bondage, Sako Ekome has been hobnobbing with the Biya-led government of Cameroon to undermine and betray his people.”
