The family of the chairman of Ocean Marine Solution Limited, Hosa Okunbo, says the business magnate lived a good life.

Naija News had earlier reported that Okunbo died aged 63 in London on Sunday morning after a long battle with cancer.

The Edo-born businessman and philanthropist was said to have been diagnosed with cancer last September.

According to Samuel Ajayi, the deceased’s media consultant, on behalf of the family’s patriarch, Tinyan Okunbo,  said the deceased died after battling cancer.

The family said Okunbo is now basking in the glory of the Almighty, adding that he lived a life of service and dedication to humanity.

The Okunbos pleaded with the public to allow the family of the deceased “grief in privacy”, saying that further announcements would be communicated at a later date.

“We do not mourn like those that have no hope, and we take solace in the fact that he lived a good life and he has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,” the family said.
