3 Killed As Police Battle Kidnappers, Rescue Abducted Benue Commissioner’s Wife




Operatives of the Nigerian Police have successfully rescued the abducted wife of the Benue Commissioner for Land and Survey Mrs. Ann Unenge from her captors.

The police and the kidnappers engaged in a gun battle before the victim could be rescued, resulting in the death of at least three of the criminals.

Naija News further gathered that the operation was carried out on Monday morning.

The lifeless bodies of those gunned down during the gun duel to rescue Mrs. Unenge have been taken to the state police headquarters around 12: 45pm on Monday.

Many residents have been visiting the Police Command headquarters to view the bodies of the suspects according to The Nation.
