Your Comments On Continued Detention Of Nnamdi Kanu Disgraceful, IPOB Fires Malami

The AGF and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, wrote a petition to the Department of State Services (DSS) against the arrested leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

AGF Malami asked the secret police to question the pro-Biafra agitator over a number of issues.

It was gathered that the petition concerned Nnamdi Kanu’s series of broadcasts from Radio Biafra concerning Nigeria and his calls for secession.

“The DSS interviewers said they were the investigating him for a petition submitted to them by the Attorney General of the Federation, Malami. The petition is about Kanu’s several broadcasts. Kanu insisted on seeing a copy of petition and an opportunity to review the broadcasts in question,” a top source revealed to SaharaReporters.

Recall that IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu was reportedly rearrested in Kenya and extradited back to Nigeria on the 27th of June, 2021.

He was then arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako who ordered his remand in the custody of the DSS until his next trial date which is July 26 and 27.

Security operatives in Kenya who abducted Nnamdi Kanu had revealed to the IPOB leader that they were directed by the Federal Government of Nigeria to abduct him.

The IPOB leader was allegedly chained to the floor for six days by the security operatives without knowing who he was until the news about him was released.

It was disclosed that Kanu by that time had suffered injuries in his neck and his wrist.
