JUST IN: Bandits Kidnap Zamfara College Provost, Mainasara

Some unknown armed men suspected to be bandits have kidnapped Habibu Mainasara, the provost of the College of Arts and Animal Science in Zamfara State.

Reports reaching Naija New at this time confirmed that Mainasara was swindled away by the unidentified gun in the early hours of Sunday.

The report of the disturbing event, Naija News understands is coming not long after bandits abducted the Emir of Kajuru and 12 of his family members in Kaduna State.

Information made available to newsmen today revealed that Mainasara was picked at his official residence within the premises of the Government Science Secondary School in the Bakura area of the state.

Meanwhile, the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested an old aged man in Katsina State dor selling hard drugs to youths, including teenagers.

Naija News reports that Yusuf Yarkadir, a resident of Yarkadir, a community in the Rimi Local Government Area of the state was arrested on Wednesday, July 7.
