‘Nnamdi Kanu Went Missing In Kenya… Appeared Days Later In Handcuffs In Abuja’

A brother to the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has narrated how they lost contact with the IPOB leader after he went “missing.”

Speaking to The UK Guardian, Kingsley Kanu stated that the pro-Biafra activist was abducted when he took a walk on the streets of Kenya.

Kanu’s brother, Kingsley, said he had spoken with him while he was in Kenya, “days before he went missing in June.”

“I spoke to him on the phone, he was well, in Nairobi. His associates said he went out, he didn’t take his documents with him; so he wasn’t planning on going anywhere. Then, all of a sudden, we see him paraded in handcuffs in Abuja,” Kingsley said.

Radio Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu’s Successor Emerges (See Details)

A successor in the person of Simon Ekpa has emerged to continue managing the activities of Radio Biafra after the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi

Kanu was arrested by security operatives.
The emergence of the successor was announced in a Facebook post by Ekpa himself who said Kanu ordered him to take over the operations of the radio station and continue daily broadcasts.

Naija News reports Kanu himself is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) following his re-arrest by security operatives and repatriation back to Nigeria.

According to reports, He was relatively an obscure figure until 2009 when he started Radio Biafra and became very vocal with the movement.
