Nnamdi Kanu: IPOB Speaks On ESN Planting Bombs In Southeast

The Indigenous People of Biafra has reacted to the alleged plan by members of the Eastern Security Network to plant bombs.

The spokesman of the group, Emma Powerful while reacting to claims of the Imo State Police Commissioner, Abudu Yaro, that some ESN members were caught while trying to plant explosives at some checkpoints in the state said the security outfit does not plant bombs.

Powerful described the claims by Yaro as an attempt to blackmail the IPOB and its security arm, ESN.

Nnamdi Kanu: Gumi Has Become Untouchable – Diri Questions Buhari Govt

The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, has charged President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to talk about Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi over his alleged link to bandits.

The Peoples Democratic Party Governor stated this while reacting to the rearrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

Diri while speaking on Channels TV said the Islamic cleric has become untouchable, adding that it was very unfair.

Buhari Speaks On Nnamdi Kanu’s Arrest, Attack On Sunday Igboho, Hails DSS, NIA

President Muhammadu Buhari has praised Nigeria’s security agencies over the operations that led to the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu and allies of Sunday Igboho.

Buhari commended security agencies for their collaboration in arresting individuals who had inflicted pain and hardships on fellow citizens.

President Buhari stated this in a statement to newsmen by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

In the statement, Shehu noted that Kanu and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leaders are known for murderous actions and virulent messaging.

He confirmed the “international operation” against Kanu resulted in his hand over to the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and then repatriation.
