European football governing body, UEFA has released the calendar for the 2021/2022 Champions League draws and matches.

The dates released are however tentative in nature and subject to change based on future developments and realities.

All the draws start at 12:00 CET except the group stage draw, which begins at 18:00 CET, the UEFA calendar noted.

Meanwhile, Nigerian professional footballer, John Mikel Obi, has departed England for a new club in Kuwait.

The 34-year-old player according to a report by the Brigadiers has agreed to a one-year deal with Kuwait Sporting Club.

Naija News understands that Obi would play with Al Kuwait throughout the 2021/2022 season. The club believes the Nigerian player to be a perfect reinforcement for its club having finished third in the Premier League last season behind Al-Qadsia and leaders Al-Arabi.
