Police Nab Native Doctor With Human Skulls In Delta

The Delta State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has arrested a native doctor who has in his possession two human skulls.

The force command in a statement issued through its acting public relations officer, DSP Bringt Edafe, said it arrested Godfrey Akpudje, 60, following a complaint at one of its stations by one Ejiro Okoro.

Edafe said the command one Ejiro Okoro, 35, reported that his sister (Name withheld) aged 65yrs who died sometime in 2019 and was buried at Ekpan Ovu, that the corpse was exhumed by an unknown person.

Naija News understands that the command upon the receipt of the report with the directive of the DPO Isiokolo Division, swung into action and detailed police detectives to investigate the incident.

Edafe said: “During the course of the investigation, information gathered through intelligence revealed that it was one Godfrey Akpudje ‘m’ 60yrs who happens to be a native doctor that exhumed the corpse and removed the skull, he was immediately arrested and two human skulls were recovered from him.”

He claimed he got one of the human skulls from Osun state from a native doctor who is now late, investigation is ongoing.

In another news, the Kano State sharia police popularly known as Hisbah said it arrested 40 teenagers for sexual misconduct including the selling of condoms.
