Endless Alleluia: Joe Igbokwe Mocks Arrested IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu

The Special Adviser to Lagos Governor on Drainage and Water Resources, Joe Igbokwe has gone spiritual in his reaction to the arrest of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Igbokwe who took to his social media account, shared pictures of himself worshipping God over the arrest of Kanu.

As earlier reported by Naija News, the federal government of Nigeria has confirmed the arrest of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

According to the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN) on Tuesday, Kanu was arrested and brought back to Nigeria on Sunday.

Subsequently, the Federal High Court in Abuja remanded Kanu in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).

In a short ruling on Tuesday, the trial judge, Justice Binta Nyako ordered that Kanu be remanded based on an application that was brought by the Federal Government.

Justice Nyako ordered that Kanu should remain in custody till July 26 pending the resumption of his trial.

Reacting to the news, Igbokwe shared pictures of himself praising God for the arrest alongside a caption where he wrote: “To God be the glory. May the Souls of hundreds of young men who lost their lives in the South East rest in perfect peace. Amen! An Endless Alleluia!”

Meanwhile, popular political activist, Deji Adeyanju has reacted to the arrest and extradition of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

In a post on his Twitter page on Tuesday, Adeyanju asked the federal government to respect the rights of Nnamdi Kanu.

According to the former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), called on the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to also arrest the ‘real terrorists’ terrorizing the country.

He wrote: “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s rights must be respected at all times. The Buhari Govt should go and arrest the real terrorist terrorizing our country and their sympathizers in and out of Govt.”
