The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has warned President Muhammadu Buhari administration to stop ‘killing’ and ‘abducting Biafrans.

In a post via his Twitter page on Wednesday, Kanu said that the Eastern Security Network (ESN) will continue to operate in the South East until the killings and kidnapping stop.

He wrote; “Again #ESN was created out of necessity. As long as Buhari’s regime continues to kill and abduct #Biafrans across the (SE)! #ESN will continue to protect Igbo people from the brutal attacks of terrorists, bandits and herdsmen.”

Meanwhile, members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have reportedly stormed forests in Delta State to begin the enforcement of the government’s anti-open grazing law.

In a viral video circulating on social media on Tuesday, some masked gunmen believed to be ESN fighters were shooting at cows reportedly wandering on farmlands.

This development is coming days after a faceless ‘Fulani Jihadist’ group had issued a 72-hour ultimatum to the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa to rescind the open grazing ban or face an attack.

But in an unsigned letter circulated in the state, the Fulani Jihadist instructed Okowa to withdraw support for the ban.
