Army Rescues More Kidnapped Kebbi Students, Kill Bandit
The Nigerian Army has confirmed the rescue of more students of the Federal Government College, Yauri, Kebbi State who were kidnapped by bandits on Thursday.
Naija News reports one teacher and three students have been freshly rescued by the military from the custody of the bandits.
Buhari Initiating Dialogue With South-East Leaders – Ngige
The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, says President Muhammadu Buhari has started initiating dialogue with South-East leaders to resolve the security situation in the region.

Police React As Officer Goes On Shooting Spree In Enugu
The Enugu Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a police inspector who killed five persons and injured four others during a shooting spree on Sunday.
Confirming the incident in a statement by its spokesman on Sunday night, Daniel Ndukwe, the command said the police officer has been arrested pending the conclusion of an investigation.
