Latest Biafra/IPOB News For Saturday, June 12th, 2021

Good day, Nigeria, welcome to Naija News roundup of Biafra/IPOB news headlines for today Friday, June 18th, 2021.

Below is a roundup of top stories on Biafra, IPOB, ESN, Nnamdi Kanu and other pro-Biafra groups:

Biafra: ‘Hungry Filthy Pig’ – Nnamdi Kanu Finally Replies Asari Dokubo

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has accused Asari Dokubo, former militant leader of defrauding him N20m.

Naija News reports that in a recent video, Dokubo had continued his verbal attacks on the pro-Biafra agitator.

Asari Dokubo accused ‘evil’ Nnamdi Kanu of standing against the restoration of Biafra.

While accusing the IPOB leader of using the “Biafran struggle” as a business venture, Dokubo claimed Nnamdi Kanu has been diverting funds meant for the Biafran cause.

Reacting, Nnamdi Kanu asked the former Niger Delta militant to stay off Biafra agitation and concentrate on being a pipeline security guard.

IPOB: Another Biafra Group Emerges, Says ‘Nigeria Is Dead And Gone’

A self-acclaimed leader and founder of the Biafra National Guard (BNG), General Innocent Orji, has said they are prepared to face Nigeria over threats made by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that in a meeting with INEC officials, Buhari had threatened to deal with those bent on destroying Nigeria through insurrection.

The president said, “Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”

In a statement to newsmen, the BNG leader charged people of the southeast to brace up and defend themselves against an imminent genocide.

While stating that Buhari meant his threat to Igbo, Orji claimed that it was clearly an indication that the government was preparing to repeat the 1967 genocide against Ndigbo.

Bandits: Nnamdi Kanu Mocks Navy For Moving Institute To Kano

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has slammed the Nigerian Navy for moving an institute to Kano instead of a state with the sea.

Naija News reports that following the increase in bandits attacks, the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, had agreed to move the Desert Warfare Institute to Kano.

Reacting in a post on his Twitter page, Kanu wondered how the navy, trained to combat enemies from the sea, would now end up in the desert.

According to the IPOB leader, one of the worst calamities ever to befall any man, is to be born a Nigerian.
