Gov Buni Makes Fresh Appointments In Yobe

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has expressed sadness over the fire incident which occurred on Monday at the palace of the Emir of Fika, Alhaji Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idrisa.

The Governor in a statement by his spokesperson, Mamman Mohammed said the fire has caused a great loss to the Emirate and the entire state but thanked God no life was lost.

Naija News understands the Emir of Fika is the Chairman Yobe state Council of chiefs.

Reacting to the fire incident at his palace, Governor Buni said; “l am deeply saddened by the sad news of the fire incident today at the palace of His Highness, the Emir of Fika.

“However, we are all consoled and give thanks to Almighty Allah that no life was lost nor injuries recorded.”

While praying that such an occurrence won’t repeat itself, Governor Buni prayed to God to replenish assets lost to the inferno.

Meanwhile, the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli has expressed great concerns about the frequent cases of bandits’ attack in Zaria.

The first-class traditional ruler lamented on Monday that the Emirate is under siege.

The Emir made his views known when he hosted a delegation of Security Heads led by the Kaduna State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.

Bamalli expressed worries that residents of the Emirate no longer feel safe and he thereafter called on the government to urgently find a solution to the security challenges.
