JUST IN: Gunmen Kill 12, Injure Five In Plateau Community

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have killed 12 persons in Kuru village of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Confirming the attack to reporters on Monday in Jos, Chairman of Jos South Local Government, Hon Gideon Dandereng, said the attack took place about 10:30pm.

Speaking further, Dandereng added that five others were seriously injured during the attack.

He, however, condemned the unwarranted attack on peace-loving and hardworking citizens by suspected herdsmen and bandits.

Dandereng also called for calm and appealed to security operatives to go after the perpetrators.
