Nnamdi Kanu: How IPOB Abducted Police To Identify Colleagues – Ogundamisi

A political activist, Kayode Ogundamisi, has accused the militia arm of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) –  Eastern Security Network (ESN) – of kidnapping a policewoman.

In a post on his Twitter handle. Ogundamisi alleged that ESN abducted the policewoman and made her identify the homes of fellow officers to be assassinated.

He wrote: “Just to break it down, Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB armed wing aka ESN kidnapped a @PoliceNG woman and made her point the homes of Nigeria police officers to be assassinated. @ukhomeoffice and @ukinNigeria officially classify IPOB and its armed militia wing ESN as a nonviolent group.”

The Nnamdi Kanu-led IPOB have been accused of carrying out some attacks and killings in the Southeast region.

Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed had accused Twitter of allowing Nnamdi Kanu to issue orders to his members through its platform.

Meanwhile, IPOB has said neither its group nor its security outfit, Eastern Security Network, has had any form of confrontation with security operatives in any part of the country as alleged by the government and security agencies.

The separatist while denying any involvement in the killing of 128 security personnel in Imo State, alleged that security operatives are carrying out house-to-house abduction and killing of youths in the South-East to incriminate its group.

The group’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, in a statement, accused the Nigerian Army and other security agencies of desperately ploting to incriminate IPOB and ESN to justify the continued extrajudicial killings of their members.
