1. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB Agitations Right, Methods Wrong – Ikpeazu

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has stated that some grievances of the Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) such as marginalisation were genuine.

He that that though he has no personal grudge against Nnamdi Kanu but he disagrees with his approach.

Speaking to newsmen, the governor said IPOB’s method of using violence would produce any good ending.

Ikpeazu expressed readiness to engage the IPOB leader in a bid to restore peace in the southeast region.

2. IPOB Alleges Buhari’s Long-Awaited Plan On South-East

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has alleged the incessant killings in the Southeast by security men is a ploy by the Muhammadu Buhari administration to pave way for the long-awaited ‘Fulani Caliphate’ on the South East.

Naija News understands that the statement was credited to Head of Membership and Mobilization of IPOB in Australia, Kennedy Ochi.

Ochi was reported to have said this while reacting to President Buhari’s Twitter comments to deal with those seeking disintegration in the South East region ‘in the language they understand’.

Ochi condemned the Nigerian president, saying only a dictator can issue such a statement. Naija News reports that the group noted that the compliance of the sit-at-home order by Igbo and non-Igbo is an indication that the people of the region and Nigerians from other parts of the country are already miffed with Buhari’s government.

3. Biafra: IPOB Reveals Security Agencies Plot To Attack Southeast

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused Nigeria’s security agencies of plotting to attack different states in the Southeast.

Naija News reports that this was made known in a statement on Tuesday by IPOB Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful.

According to the pro-Biafra group, security operatives had concluded plans to attack Igbo communities beginning with Anambra State.

The proscribed group warned Igbo youths and others to be vigilant and wary of their movements.
