The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka on Sunday, June 6, held his first Mass at the Emene Adoration Ground.

Naija News recalls that Father Mbaka had served out the compulsory 30-day suspension placed on him by the leadership of Catholic Church, Diocese of Enugu.

The Mass which started that the Adoration Ministry Ground at 10 am was described by Mbaka as a Mass of thanksgiving.

A statement signed by the controversial priest on the official facebook handle of the Adoration Ministry reads: “ADORATION; THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR POWER.

“All the adoration members will be celebrating the 10am Sunday Mass tomorrow being (6/6/2021).

“It shall be a Mass of thanksgiving and blessings tomorrow at our adoration ground (Umuchigbo Iji Nike).

“Come one, come all. AYEYEYEY00!

“From Rev Fr, Ejike Mbaka.

“Share this great news to others.”

Mbaka had on the directive of the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Calistus Onaga embarked on a one-month retreat.

The priest had also been banned by the Catholic church from taking part in any form of partisan politics.

The leadership of the catholic church also banned the fiery but controversial priest from releasing prophecies about candidates contesting political offices.

The decisions are part of actions taken by the catholic church in the aftermath of the public unrest generated by the supposed disappearance and appearance of Mbaka in May.

The decisions are contained in a letter dated June 3 by the Catholic bishop of Enugu Diocese Callistus Onaga which also announced the conversion of the Adoration Ministry to ‘chaplaincy’ under the Enugu Diocese of the Catholic church.
