Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Speaks As Court Rejects His Fresh Bail Application

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, on Friday, described President Muhammadu Buhari’s war threat as an “empty” one.

The IPOB leader noted that Nigerians are not in support of the President’s empty civil war threat.

Recall that President Buhari had threatened to deal with people trying to destroy his government.

Buhari issued the threat while condemning the attacks on police stations, correctional facilities and offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the Southeast.

The president in his statement said, “individuals or groups who want to destroy his government will receive the shock of their lives.”

He added that they would be treated in a language they would understand.

Reacting, Kanu, in a series of tweets wrote: “You might’ve noticed that these empty THREATS of levying another war against #Biafra are coming exclusively from the Fulanized @NGRPresident and the extremist FULANI ruling class.

“Unlike 1967, they’re alone on this; the rest of Nigeria is not with them. Again, #ThisIsNot1967

“For those suffering from self-induced amnesia or who may have conveniently forgotten how the #Fulani Caliphate put #Nigeria in the beautiful mess, it’s in today.

“Most pathetic of all, sponsorship of BH didn’t stop late @MBuhari from being voted into power in 2015.”
