'Emefiele, Buhari Now Put To Shame' - Fani-Kayode Reacts To Supreme Court's Ruling On Naira Policy

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the killing of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Gulak, in Imo State.

Naija News reports that Gulak was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Owerri, Imo State, on Sunday while he was on his way to Abuja.

The gunmen intercepted and attacked a Toyota Camry cab carrying the politician and two others at Umueze Obiangwu in Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area close to the Airport who were on their way to Sam Mbakwe Airport to catch a flight.

Reacting to the sad news in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Sunday, Fani-Kayode said Gulak’s killing was the handiwork of skilled professionals.

He noted that the gunmen trailed, and targetted the former aide of President Goodluck Jonathan, before killing him in cold blood.

The PDP chieftain, however, prayed that his soul should rest in peace.

He wrote: “I condemn the assassination of my old friend & former Special Assistant to
@GEJonathan, Ahmed Gulak, in Owerri this morning. The cowards trailed him, targetted him, identified him & killed him. This was the handiwork of skilled professionals. May the soul of Ahmed rest in peace.”
