Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Hints At ‘Bombing’ Key Structures In Nigeria

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has hinted that bombing parts of Nigeria may fast-track the realisation of Biafra.

Naija News reports that the IPOB leader gave the hint in a post on his Twitter handle on Friday morning.

Nnamdi Kanu in the post on his social media handle claimed that the nation of Israel had to bomb a key establishment of the British government before it could become an independent nation.

The pro-Biafra activists wrote: “Dear@NigeriaGov:

“Israelis tried to create their country PEACEFULLY but they were blocked.

“On July 22, 1946, Israeli patriots BOMBED the King David in Jerusalem, the British administrative headquarters for Palestine. 91 people DIED.

“Soon after, the new of Israel was borne.”

Meanwhile, Nigeria security agencies have out an operation which resulted in the killing of seven operatives of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)/Eastern Security Network (ESN) in Rivers community.

Naija News reports that the security agents include operatives of the Nigerian Army, the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The operation was confirmed in a statement to newsmen on Thursday night by the Nigerian Army.

According to the military, the operation which took place at about 6:15pm also resulted in the arrest of five ESN members.
