Nigerian Man Asks Wife To Reject Job Offer Because It Will Allow Her Get Master’s Before Him

A Nigerian medical practitioner identified as Dr Ola Brown on Twitter, has shared a story of a lady who rejected a job offer from their company because of her husband.

According to Dr Brown, the lady turned down the offer because her husband was against her having an MBA before him. The man was quoted to have said that his wife having an MBA before him is not healthy for their marriage.

Dr Brown shared: “There was a lady who I wanted to come and work with us. But she didn’t have an MBA. So included it in her offer letter.

“She turned the offer down because her husband said that it would be bad for their marriage if she got a masters before him.”

Discouring the man’s act towards his wife, Dr Brown said: “Maybe this has something to do with the reason why people insist on calling my hubby Dr Brown even though he isn’t a Dr. I am Dr Brown. And that’s perfectly ok. I also got my masters before him.

“He really doesn’t give a hoot about such things. Supports me through everything. Honestly,, I promise you. He REALLY doesn’t care abt stuff like that.
