Crowds As Ex-Senate President Saraki Arrives Ilorin Mosque To Attend Tafsir

Former president of the Nigerian Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Friday, May 7 visited the Gambari Mosque in Ilorin, Kwara State to attend the Tafsir of the Imam Gambari of Ilorin.

Naija News understands that the 8th National Assembly head received a warm welcome from a large crowd at the entrance of the popular mosque, chanting ‘Sai Leader’.

Saraki could be seen in the viral video shared by a Twitter user [@shewn007], waving hands at the crowd with his usual smile.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress, APC has charged Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari in the fight against insecurity.

Naija News reports that the call was made in a statement titled, ‘APC Welcomes Release of 29 Kaduna College Students’, which was signed by the party’s National Secretary, Sen. John Akpanudoeudehe, in Abuja, on Thursday.

The ruling party noted that it was happy following the release and safe return of 29 students abducted from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, in Kaduna State.
