The co-covener of the Bring Back Our Girls Movement, Oby Ezekwesili, has reacted to the death of Pastor Dare Adeboye, son to General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye.

Naija News had reported earlier that Adeboye’s first child, Pastor Dare died at the age of 42 at his house in Abuja.

It was gathered that the deceased died without any prior symptoms of sickness and was never on medication. Dare who pastored one of the RCCG branches in Abuja was said to have officiated on Sunday and retired to his bed after church. He reportedly warned that he should not be disturbed during his rest.

His wife, Temiloluwa Adeboye, was said to have raised an alarm after she noticed her husband’s unusual sleeping hours, he was, however, discovered dead.

Reacting to the sad development on her verified Twitter account some moments ago, Ezekwesili wonder why good people often die before their time.

Her tweet read: This cuts hard, Pastor Dare Adeboye. We find comfort in the word of God.

“Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. Isaiah 57:1”
