Nollywood actress, Mide Martins, has taken to her social media page to pen down an emotional tribute to her late mother, Funmi Martins, who died 19years ago after a brief illness.

According to the actress, via her instagram page revealed that her late mother was her bestfriend and a sweet tender soul who impacted alot of lives while she was alive. 

The mother of two further noted her late mother’s mermories would continue to linger forever. Sharing a photo of Late Funmi Martins on her page, Mide captioned it;

It would be recalled that on May 6 2002, popular Yoruba actress, Funmi Martins died at the Oshuntuyi Medical Hospital in Lagos. She was only 38 years old. According to the medical reports, her sudden death was caused by cardiac arrest, which happened because of her rheumatic heart disease.
