Shehu Sani Slams Buhari For Retaining Failed Appointees

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has taken to social media to taunt President Muhammadu Buhari’s government over comment on the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka.

Naija News had reported earlier that Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has admonished Fr. Mbaka to focus on his spiritual calling and leave politics for the politicians.

APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena made the call on Friday in a reaction to Mbaka’s call for President Muhammadu Buhari to resign over the growing insecurity in Nigeria. It will be recalled that Mbaka earlier noted that President Buhari has failed the country woefully, hence he should resign or face impeachment.

However, Nabena submitted on Friday that Mbaka shouldn’t be making such statements capable of destabilizing the country.

The APC chieftain threatened to expose Mbaka’s ‘dirty secrets’ to the Vatican and the Pope if the priest doesn’t stop levelling accusations against Buhari and other political leaders in the country. Reacting to Nabena’s threat of reporting Mbaka to the Pope, Shehu Sani took to his verified Twitter account on Friday, April 30 to make a mockery of the APC administration by saying, “GEJ forgot to report Father Mbaka to the Pope.”

Meanwhile, some netizens had earlier warned the Kaduna senator against any attempt to ridicule Fr Mbaka in his social media comments. A user of the microblogging platform, IKECHI INNOCENT CHINAEMEREM
[@innocent_ikechi] accused Sani of contributing to the current situation in Nigeria.

He wrote: “Sir, I believe you re not trying to ridicule the Priest. We still have your papers with usYou were among those that put us in this mess.”
