Former Nigerian lawmaker, Shehu Sani has been ‘attacked’ on social media after he made a comment about prominent Fr Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu.

Naija News reports that the Kaduna senator took to his verified Twitter account on Thursday, to say “Our Revered Father Mbaka crossed the Red Sea to Yemen, and realized it was not the Promised Land.”

Reacting to Sani’s post on the microblogging platform, a netizen identified as IKECHI INNOCENT CHINAEMEREM
[@innocent_ikechi], warned the senator against any attempt to ridicule the renowned priest.

He tweeted “Sir, I believe you re not trying to ridicule the Priest. We still have your papers with us… You were among those that put us in this mess.”

In support of Ikechi’s reaction, another netizen Shetdwo [@Kponchose] tweeted: “Go ahead and publish them we need to drag the whole lot that got us into this shxt.”

Recall that Father Mbaka on Thursday called for President Muhammadu Buhari to be impeached due to the increase insecurity challenges in Nigeria.
The cleric in a statement noted that President Buhari has failed the country woefully, hence he should resign now.

Naija News reports that Mbaka while speaking at the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, wondered why Buhari has remained silent despite the incessant killings in the country.

According to the cleric, Nigerians are crying because they don’t have a leader and Buhari should resign or be impeached.
