Alleged Sexual Assault: Baba Ijesha Pleads Not Guilty To Six-Count Charges

Nollywood actor and producer, Yomi Fabiyi has thrown more light on why he is not joining the bandwagon on Baba Ijesha’s alleged molestation issue revealing the actor confessed to him that, he never did anything with the 14-years -old girl.

According to the video shared by Goldmynetv, Yomi Fabiyi revealed he went to see Baba Ijesha, who sworn he never did anything to the young girl. Baba Ijesha also disclosed these accusations came at the period when he was having marital problems revealing comedian Princess only wants to tarnish his image.

However, Yomi agreed that Baba Ijesha confessed to have been caught with the lady in the living room trying to get intimate with her but never went further than that.

Yomi added that his colleagues were trying to make him judge Baba Ijesha. ”The picture they were trying to sell to me was, a CCTV of him having sex, expecting me to condemn him which is not true’

Naija News earlier reported that senior officer at the Lagos State Police Command has disclosed that Nollywood actor, Olarenwaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, may be released on Friday following a directive for his release.

The source which spoke with Punch noted that the ongoing strike by members of the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria has hindered courts from sitting and the suspect could not be detained indefinitely without trial.

The source, however, disclosed that investigation into the allegation levelled against the actor shows he did not defile the victim, adding that when she was questioned, the victim confirmed the same.
