IPOB Accuse Uzodinma, APC Of Killing Igbos In Imo State

The Indigenous People of Biafra has called out the Senior Special Assistant on Social Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, for claiming that a member of IPOB renounced the group following the death of a commander of the Eastern Security Network, Ikonso.

The Presidential aide had shared a WhatsApp chat of an undisclosed person she claimed left the group on Sunday evening after security agencies killed Ikonso and six other members of ESN in Imo State.

Onochie further stated that leaders in the South-East should have control of the region, while commending the operation during which Ikonso was killed.

“A chat with a former IPOB member. We have his permission to share. The leaders of Ndigbo must take charge of their region as we are now beginning to see in Imo State. Nature abhors a vacuum. Where the leaders are silent vultures will crown themselves kings,” Onochie wrote on her Twitter page.

The spokesman of IPOB, Emma Powerful, in his reaction to Onochie’s statement accused her of lying about her claim.

Powerful called on the presidential aide to mention the name or reveal the identity.

“Don’t mind that leader of **** in Aso Rock, where did she meet the IPOB member or ESN that chatted with her? Tell her to mention the name of that person and which number on WhatsApp, Facebook or Twitter?” the IPOB spokesman said.
