Manchester City on Wednesday defeated French giants, PSG in the Champions League semi-final clash between the two clubs.

Second-half goals from Kevin De Bruyne (64) and Riyad Mahrez (71) cancelled out Marquinhos’ 15th-minute goal for PSG and ensured the English club took a huge step towards this season’s champions league final.

PSG had taken the lead into halftime but Pep Guardiola’s City fought back in the second half, dominating the game and eventually turning the match around.

Things got worse for PSG when midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye was sent off in the 77th minute of the game.

The win with two away goals was a vital win for City but PSG are not out of the competition as they have a fighting chance when the two clubs meet again next Tuesday for the second leg in Manchester.

Meanwhile, Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich has announced the appointment of RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann as the club’s new manager.

A statement released on Tuesday confirmed that the 33 years old manager will arrive the club in July.
