Naija News understands that security agencies hinted the State Government of the recovery today, noting that the retrieved corpses have been evacuated to a mortuary, and the university has been notified of the development.

“The Government of Kaduna State under the leadership of Malam Nasir El-Rufai is saddened by this evil perpetrated against innocent students abducted while pursuing their education for a glorious future,” the statement by Aruwan reads.

It added: “The Government sends its deep empathy to their families and the university management, and prays for the repose of their souls.

The Government will update the citizenry on further developments.

The sad report Naija News understands is coming after the Governor Nasir El-Rufai-led government has sent a delegation to sympathise with the families of the three students of Greenfield University, who were killed by bandits after they were abducted from the school.

The Commissioner of Education in the state, Shehu Mohammed, led the team to visit the families of the students in Jaji, Barnawa, and Sabon Tasha areas in Igabi and Chikun Local Government Areas.

Mohammed while consoling the parents of the deceased students over the unfortunate incident, added that the state government has commenced the process of beefing up security around schools in the state and also relocating students from schools located in vulnerable areas to safer places.
