A Reasonable Govt Won’t Allow You Remain In The Cabinet – Wike Blasts Pantami

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has told the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Dr Isa Pantami to immediately resign his appointment.

The Governor lamented that in saner climes, Pantami would have been sacked but the All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government is known to always shield its members with questionable characters.

History Won’t Be Kind To Buhari If.. – CAN

The Christian Association of Nigeria, on Tuesday, said history will not be kind to President Muhammadu Buhari if Nigeria breaks up while he is in power.

The Vice-Chairman of CAN (North), Rev. John Hayab, stated this on Tuesday while reacting to the claim by the Presidency that secessionist groups could not intimidate Buhari.

EFCC Detains Ex-Zamfara Gov Yari

The former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, on Tuesday was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, over alleged illegal financial dealings.

It was gathered that Yari was detained by the anti-graft agency at its Sokoto office.

Babangida Remains Suspended As Niger PDP Rejects Caretaker Order

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State has reaffirmed the suspension of former Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu for alleged anti-party activities.

This is despite the intervention of the North Central Zonal Caretaker Committee of the party which rejected the suspension of Babangida by the Niger State chapter of the party.

Biafra: IPOB Rejects UK Asylum, Reveal What They Want

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Nnamdi Kanu has rejected the reported plans by the UK government to offer ‘persecuted’ members asylum.

Kanu who spoke on Tuesday in a statement by IPOB media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful said what IPOB needs is not asylum but a referendum that will lead to freedom from Nigeria.
