Fani-Kayode Reacts As Terrorists Torture Abuja-Kaduna Train Victims

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the attack on Enugu police station and the killing of two policemen.

It may be recalled that Naija News had earlier reported that the Divisional Police Headquarters, Adani in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State was reportedly attacked by unknown gunmen.

Reacting in a post on his Twitter handle on Wednesday morning, Fani-Kayode described the attack as shameful.

He wrote: “The attack on an Enugu police station & murder of two policemen by unknown gunmen is shameful & shocking & I condemn it.

“Enugu is a peaceful state with a God-fearing & God-sent leader & it is a tragedy that anyone would want to turn it into a theater of war or haven for crime.”

It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the police facility in the early hours of Wednesday.

Two of the police officers on duty were reportedly killed and several others injured, while the police station was burnt.

Sources confirmed that the attack on the police station started at about 2:30am and lasted for about one hour.
