Derek Chauvin Convicted For George Floyd’s Death

Former Minneapolis Police officer, Derek Chauvin, on Tuesday, was found guilty of all the three charges leveled against in the death of George Floyd.

The ex-police who has been found guilty could face up to 40 years in prison for second-degree murder, 25 years for third-degree murder and 10 years for second-degree manslaughter.

The jury after hours of deliberation on Monday and Tuesday found him guilty of killing George Floyd in May, 2020.

Chauvin’s bail was immediately revoked by the judge and he was escorted out of the courtroom with his hands cuffed.
