Nollywood actress, Film director and model, Stephanie Okereke Linus has taken to her social media to mourn Actress and TV Host Racheal Bakam who died after a brief illness.

Naija News recalls that popular Nollywood actress and TV personality Racheal Bakam died on Tuesday, April 2021, after a brief illness. 

Reacting to the sad news, actress Stephenie Okereke via her official Instagram handle, shared a photo of late actress with the caption, 

‘@rachelbakam Still in shock! ‘Such a sweet soul! I will miss your stories,your laughs, your smiles, the Joy you radiate and your what’s app messages. I know you are at peace. May your beautiful soul Rest In Peace’

Other Nigerian celebrities and prominent figures, via their social media handle, mourned the late Racheal Bakam.

Former Aviation Minister Fani Kayode, amongst others, recounted how she brought smile to millions with her weekly programme. Sharing a photo of her, he wrote; ”I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of the beautiful Rachael Bakam who was a regular guest at my Abuja home with my brother John Fashanu. She was a dear friend, a kind-hearted, compassionate & wonderful soul & a highly talented television presenter & personality. She was also a great source of pride to her native Kaduna state and to Nigeria and she brought smiles to the faces of millions all over the country with her weekly programme on AIT. I and many others shall miss her. May her beautiful soul rest in peace and may God grant her loved ones, her siblings and her son the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
