Some Western Countries Harbouring IPOB Despite Its Terrorist Organization Status - Lai Mohammed

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has refused to disclose the actual date that President Muhammadu Buhari will be returning to Nigeria from his medical trip in London, United Kingdom.

Recall that the President travelled out of the country on the 30th of March for medical check-up in London.

President Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, had earlier stated that his principal would be back in the country in the second week of April, 2021.

However, with the second week of April ended, the Minister said Buhari still has grace of now till Saturday.

Mohammed while addressing State House correspondents on Wednesday, said, “Today is Wednesday; this week finishes on Saturday. So, what is the big issue in that one?” the minister asked.

In another development, the Federal Government has assured parents of Chibok schoolgirls still in captivity that it is keen on ensuring their safe return.

Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, made this known in a statement on Wednesday to mark the seventh anniversary since the abduction.
