The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has revealed that he was at the Kaduna State government house on the invitation of Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

The revered clergyman disclosed that his initial mission in Kaduna State was to see and pray for some members of the church who were recently rescued from kidnappers after they were kidnapped on their way for an evangelism mission.

As earlier reported by Naija News, Pastor Adeboye, on Tuesday, met with the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House in Kaduna.

Speaking on the meeting, Pastor Adeboye in a Twitter statement said El-Rufai invited him to pray for Kaduna State.

“Earlier today, I decided to go out of my schedule to see my Children who God delivered from the den of the kidnappers while they were on their way to the venue of the Lets Go Fishing Exercise.”

“To the Glory of God, they are Hale and Hearty. Before leaving, the Governor appealed to me to visit the State house in Kaduna to pray for the state, its people and its leadership for peace and protection after laying hands on my Children who were sick.”

“It is my prayer that the peace of and kingdom of God will be established in Kaduna State and our nation Nigeria and all locations where the children of God are across the world in JESUS name (AMEN).”

The aides earlier positioned themselves and blocked the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila whom they said has been feigning ignorance of their demands since 2019.

Having done with the Speaker, protesters made deft moves to get the attention of the Senate President, Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan.
