Celebrity stylist and entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani has announced the death of her father, Olanrewaju Lawani.

The fashionista took to her social media account on Thursday to announce the passing away of her father, noting that he died right in front of her.

She used the occasion to call on people to live their lives in full as nobody knows what may happen tomorrow, adding that only today is guaranteed.

She wrote: “I keep saying this every day because at times the world don’t know a lot of peoples struggles because we keep it private and show our strong side to inspire people, you will be shocked to know what some people are going through and they smile and laugh at you daily, life is too short, live it, yesterday you will be young and strong, the way time flies, it will be tomorrow already and you will be old and weak.

“Live your life to the fullest, live it for you, not people, cause when you go they won’t go with you, everyone has a journey they need to embark on and alone, only him Who gives can take any time, you can’t Question God, share moments with your loved ones and show them you care and love them, cause tomorrow is not promised only today we know, judge less, Be prayerful and Be kind to people, On the last day Your Kindness won’t fail you. Recently, Naija News recalls Lawani reacted to criticism that followed her raunchy nun outfit.

The fashionista sparked outrage over her controversial dress for the premiere of ‘Prophetess‘, a movie by Niyi Akinmolayan.

In several photos shared on her Instagram page, Lawani could be seen clad in an all-white attire with a sign of the cross inscribed on it.

Although she was partly unclad as her thighs could be visibly seen while she also accompanied the photos with religious-inclined captions.

Many critics took to social media to describe the outfit as an insult to Christianity while some others carpeted her for promoting immorality.

Reacting in a lengthy Instagram post on Tuesday, the entrepreneur described her critics as “hypocrites”, adding that she won’t apologize over her raunchy nun outfit.
