Buhari’s Aide Reacts To Appointment Of Mahamadou As New Nigerien Minister Of Petroleum

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad has reacted to the appointment of Sani Mahamadou as Nigerien New Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energy.

Naija News understands that the presidential aide on Thursday, April 8, took to his verified Twitter account to congratulate Mahamadou on his new appointment, noting that he is left with no doubt that the appointee will excel beyond expectation.

His tweet reads: “Congratulations to my brother, Sani Mahamadou on his recent appointment by Nigérien president, H.E. Mohamed Bazoum, as the Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energy. I have no doubt you’d excel beyond any expectation. Wish you the very best!”

In another news, Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, on Thursday, expressed sadness over the state of security in the country which has affected the unity of Nigeria.

Mohammed in his statement noted that security issues like banditry, kidnapping and others have led to the call for Nigeria breakup.

Naija News reports that the Minister disclosed this during a Town Hall meeting in Kaduna tagged: “Setting Benchmarks for Enhanced Security and National Unity in Nigeria”.
