The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has accused the founder of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote of contributing to Nigeria’s problem.

Naija News understands that Kanu took to his social media account, Twitter precisely, to allege that Dangote cement is been sold at a cheaper price in other African countries while the price is doubled in Nigeria where it is being produced.

The IPOB leader accused Africa’s Richest businessman of exploiting Nigerians via the Dangote Cement Company.

The tweet reads: “In Zambia, Dangote sells cement for 55 Kwatcha (1150 Naira). But here in Nigeria, the same cement is going for 3,000 to 5,000 Naira.

“Dangote is the biggest problem in Nigeria(#Zoo).”

Meanwhile, the latest Forbes’ 2021 World’s Billionaires list has seen the combined net worth of three of Nigeria’s richest persons increased by $5.7bn in one year to $22.5bn.

The list, which was released on Tuesday, includes 14 African billionaires, with the President/Chief Executive of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, leading the pack, Naija News reports.

Dangote, Africa’s richest person, saw his net worth jump to $11.5bn from $8.3bn in 2020, making him the 191st wealthiest person in the world, The PUNCH reports.
